Nothing is transparent, and the Sigtech units (at a much higher price) are considered better by most who have tried these digital units. With that said, I must say that I would rather have a TACT in my system, than not. Every time I have heard the improvements that these units are capable of, I am completely floored. In the end, when either a TACT or Sigtech units is utilized, I have had a much more enjoyable musical experience, which reminds me more of music, and less that I am listening to equipment. Isn't that what high end audio is all about? Now, can someone tell me where I can get one of these wonder units at a reasonable price?
Is TACT RCS 2.0 truly transparent
What exactly does the TACT do with the digital signal? I assume, the signal gets 'modified' with the appropriate eq and phase correction, would that not mean the signal would inevitably be 'changed' and hence 'degraded'? How can they perform all those tasks while being 'transparent'?
