Is this a good price for Anthem STR Pre Pro?

I am looking to upgrade my Parasound A21 to Anthem STR Preamp and Anthem STR Power Amp to use with Focal Electra 1038BE. I have an audio dealer offering to sell me the floor model of the combination for USD 7500. Would you consider that a good deal? Does Anthem gear hold its value over time?

floor model, how does the factory warranty work?

cameras, open box, demo's, if never sold, when sold the invoice date is the date of initial sale, and full factory warranty begins on that date.
