Theta Dreadnaught. Awesome response with the Magnepan 1.6 and easy to drive.
Kathleen's system needs amplification. Any ideas?
Her system includes Magnepan 1.6 speakers, Earthquake SuperNova Sub, Logitech Transporter wireless from MacMini ITunes, Chord DAC 64 currently using Silver sonic speaker cable including jumpers on the maggies. XLR and Fiber Optic I/C's used.
This system has the potential to be relatively resolving so my criteria for either an Integrated or Amp using the transporter as Pre: Current to Drive the Maggies, Accuracy but Musical without the harsh digital mid to highs (she says when it's too bright it's hard to listen for long = fatigue), potential for an in-home trial from a dealer. XLR inputs are preferred. SS or tube or combi is fine. Budget up to $3,500.00
Ideas please?
