Your Threshold amps are monoblocks, which means one amp powers one
Kindel speaker each. Kindel PLS-A's have two pairs of terminals on the back of
each speaker. The lower pair goes to the array of woofers (low pass), the
upper terminals go to the tweeters (high pass). From the factory the high and
low terminals are jumpered by small straight wires. The crossovers are built-
in, so with just one monophonic amp per speaker, you don't have to worry
about bi-amping or bi-wiring. Look closely at the terminals. If the jumper
wires are missing, you'll need to add some or use two runs of wire from each
Threshold amp, one for the low pass and one for the high pass terminals.
You need an independent pair (i.e., not strapped to each other) of RCA-
terminated interconnects from your pre-amp, one interconnect to go to the
Threshold amp powering the left speaker and another to the other amp
powering the right.
A store local to where I live has a used pair of PLS-A's in stock. I stopped by
today to look at their layout and and verify with the store owner that the lower
pair of terminals is low pass (to the woofers) and the upper pair is high pass
to the tweeters. The pair I saw is all original including the bottom stands and
wire jumpers strapping the two positive terminals together and the two
negative terminals together.
