Laura Nyro "Eli And The Thirteenth Confessional"...Analog Spark Label

I bought this LP when it first came out years ago, but have never listened to it. What a mistake!

On the Analog Spark label and superbly recorded and mastered, this is a wonderful recording. Quiet, open, deep/wide soundstage.

And the songs and that voice!! Taken WAY TOO soon from us.

Highly recommended!!!

So is Shane's Intervention Records. Have most of those. I have recently been buying some Blue Note Classic Vinyl Series & the Tone Poet Series...very impressed so far!

I have 10-12 titles and all of them are excellent. Another fantastic small label is Impex. The new 1Step pressing of Getz/Gilberto is breath-taking. I know this is old hat by now, but "Jazz At The Pawnshop" is coming out on a 1Step. Still one of favorite overall recordings. I still remember the first time I heard this on a top notch system...it was like being transported into that smoky, noisy jazz club.
