Listening chair suggestions

I now have a dedicated listening room and I am searching for just the right chair to place in the sweet spot. I'm considering a recliner or maybe one with an ottermen. I thought an ornate barbers chair might work but it seems difficult to transport. Suggestions are welcome.

Go for the Jappling chair from IKEA, with the matching footrest. I replaced my Poang with this one and I love it. But I do understand that it is not available at every IKEA store. But you also have other IKEA chairs that are very close to the Jappling style and are equally comfortable - without breaking the bank!

"My solution? The kind of chair you find in the waiting room of a professional office. Four thin legs, a supportive back, and armrests."

"I don't know about anyone else, but given the amount of time I listen to music, if I spent it in a waiting area chair I'd be dead by now."

A basic chair can be comfortable, functional, and nice looking,
and doesn't have to come from a garage sale (or look like it did).
I custom ordered mine by picking the right style and colors.

I first saw the STRIVE chair at a health club, so I knew what
to expect when I placed my order. The seating surfaces are nicely
padded. A great company to work with.
Russ69: What height is that ??? !!!
So we want the right height of the listening chair, and thus our ears, relative to the speaker heights.
But you didn't say what that height was!!
Anyone know?
I replaced my existing chair with a CostPlus World Market Kendall chair. Absolutely comfortable and nothing behind the ears to distort the sound. This is in suede fabric. And the color matches my GIK panels as well.
