Two 15 inch subs is a lot of subs for an LRS. Maybe try two 10 inch or two 8 inch. My 12 inch HGS just sounds too heavy and slow for the Magnepans.
Magnapan LRS
I'm tempted to order a pair of Magnapan LRS that would be augmented with a pair of Velodyne HGS-15s low-passed at 80 Hz. I use passive balanced 80 Hz high-pass between an Ayre KX-5 preamp and VX-5 amp. Room is 14' X 19' and the wall behind the speakers is covered with carpet and a 100" screen. Is that a setup that has a chance to provide good sound?
