Mass Loading - Speaker Stands FYI

I have been using play sand in my 18inch Celestion speaker stands and have been looking for/contemplating using lead-shot. After learning it was $50 for a 25lb bag, and a bit dangerous to handle, I looked for an alternative and used BB's. To fill both stands cost me $110

I weighed the Stands with the sand in them and it came in at 16lbs.

Using the BB's, the stands weigh 42lbs.
