musical fidelity V-DAC

Just placed this in the system tonight. I was using a Sterolink 1200 till I got the v-dac. Was my intro to see if I liked computer audio. Major improvement to the music, broader, cleaner sound stage, cleaner sound, just makes the music that much better sounding. Music is rich and warm it did improve everything.
Now this was a mid grade till I could justify the Benchmark. Will I see that much of difference going up again? Or is the V-DAC just giving me 75% to 90% of what the Benchmark will give me. I feel that the V-DAC was a couple hundred percent improvement.
My system is made up of maggies, 1.6 as the mains driven by NAD 175/975.
