My new TV doesn't have an RCA video in.....

I have a Rotel RSP 1066 pre-pro. My onscreen programming is done via RCA video cable out. My problem is that my new Samsung only has HDMI video in..and 1 component video in. Is their an adapter that can solve this problem? Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

False Alarm....I didn't realize it but the Rotel actually has component-monitor out. Thanks anyways.
Sorry Krelldog, the on screen menu in the RSP-1066 will not work on component video out. You will need to use the composite video out.

My answer is the same as Tls49. My Samsung uses a combined component/composite in.
The input is labeled"Y/VIDEO"...the yellow "Y" RCA is for composite.
But it's good advise to check the menu settings for the correct input.

Newer TV's use the component video as a dual purpose input. The "Y" connection (green) can be used for composite video (yellow RCA). Check your owners manual as I'm not sure if it just works or you may need to select something in the menu.

If you only need this video for programming and don't require color, try plugging the single composite video cable into one of the three component jacks. I'm not positive, but you should get black/white. It would save you the cost of an adapter.

I've used a composite to s-video adapter and it worked fine. I have no experience with this one (ie to HDMI) but would imagine it works.
