Paradigm studio reference 20 versions

Is the differencebetween v3 and v5 studio 20's huge? I'm contemplating buying some v3's off Craigslist. While they cost half as much, I wonder if I still may be better off saving up for the current version. Any suggestions? It's tough to decide the reviews are so good for both versions (all versions, really). Thanks for your help!
