Hi guys!... any aleph 0 monoblock owners?... have a chance to buy a very nice pair locally, only issue is that they are european voltage, and here we use 120v....
anyone knows if they can be converted to 120v?... or am I stuck to use a voltage converter with them?, if the latter, which converter do you recommend?
Thanks all..... asked passlabs directly (as George suggested), and they answered that "absolutely yes", they can be converted to 120 v by a competent tech....
so know that is clear.... need to make up my mind if I shoukd get them or not... jmmmm.... let's see what happens
They're good sounding amps. The only problem I had with mine was one of them caught on fire when I turned it on. Good thing I had it on an amp stand and not in a rack.
The factory can convert the voltage-I posed the same question to them in an email, BUT- it could get really expensive. They can also replace any other parts that don't test well and get the amp to work like new again. OTOH if the amp is already working properly a voltage converter can be used and they are very reasonably priced.
