Jimmy Heath was a master. "Picture of Heath" is just one of many excellent recordings featuring his composing and playing.

I'm not a jazz guy. Never been a jazz guy, but I do like "some" jazz. I'm pretty picky and like what I like. I REALLY like this album!
Anything that gets my "head bobbin' and toes a tappin' is all right in my book!!
What a fantastic recording and of course the musicianship is second to none.
If you pick up only one title from this excellent series...get this one.
Highly recommended!!!
