An Inspired Meeting: Haynes and Scofield jam on Allman Bros' "Dreams"
@bigtwin  I'll check that one out. I'm  mostly familiar with his "straight" Jazz recordings. Two of my favorites are "Meant To Be" with Joe Lovano and the tribute to Miles cd on Verve Joe Henderson recorded late in his career... "So Near So Far...
Market Stabilization?
@grislybutter  Well, it's hard not to respond to such outbursts.    @soix  +1
Rick Beato's Latest Interview:Warren Haynes
@bigtwin  Yes -- great musician !
Noir album recommendations
@dayglow  This is the first I've heard of Noir Jazz but that Terence Blanchard is excellent!
Market Stabilization?
This is not the place for political rants. There are plenty of other forums online for that. And from a practical standpoint, you're unlikely to change anyone's mind in this highly polarized political climate.
Anyone listen to entire albums?
There are of course popular albums that feature tunes that take up an entire side or tunes that run together. I guess if one’s tastes inclined toward am radio and singles-oriented Pop, one might be more inclined to buy albums for the hits. Best of...

@bdp24 I’ll check them out. I recall seeing Lauderdale with Lucinda Williams on her second ACL show that also featured a very young-looking Kenny Vaughan. I bought "On Your Side" at one point but it didn’t find it very engaging. Maybe I need t...
Anyone listen to entire albums?
As a rule, I only buy/keep cds I enjoy all the way through. I've made my own anthologies of artists whose albums are inconsistently appealing to me, such as Led Zep and Rory Gallagher but these are very much exceptions and I rarely play them.   ...

@bdp24 After The Band’s 1969 second s/t album---routinely cited as the first "Americana" album---sent shock waves through the Rock music world, suddenly The Dead---and a lot of other bands---followed suit, but none with the depth The Band posse...
Sound Anchor Stands
@tooblue  Thanks so much for the info! @dekay  Interesting. Those seem really long/deep --not likely to pass the WAF test!   Am actually thinking in terms of next speakers as the 17.5's are over 15 years old at this point.
Sound Anchor Stands
@pdreher   Good product and built to last... they are indestructible and heavy. Built to last? Great!  Heavy? Not so great at my stage of life. My back is not "indestructible" !    ;o) @freediver  I believe my current Target stands are heavi...
Jazz for aficionados
@botrytis I’ve played guitar for 50 years (just to entertain myself -- I found out early on that gigging was not for me) so I don’t have to depend upon my system to have a deep connection with music. Nevertheless, I still enjoy good audio, just...
Jazz for aficionados
@curiousjim  You're welcome! Wish more artists' websites emulated H.Hancock's. @botrytis  Sounds like a healthy approach to me...
