Pink Triangle mkII 33rpm speed runs too fast

HELLO PEOPLE,
ANYONE HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE IAM HAVING WITH MY PINK? RUNS TO FAST AT 33RPM'S. COULD IT BE THE BELT? ANY SUGGESTIONS OUT THERE.LET ME KNOW. ALSO BELT SOMETIMES COMES OFF FOR NO APPARENT REASON. IS THIS SOME THING YOU LIVE WITH OR CAN IT BE CORRECTED? I LOVE MY PINK. ALSO LOOKING FOR A TURNTABLE STROBE USED IN GOOD CONDITION. HAVE ONE LET ME KNOW I WILL BUY IT.

If it is one of the Export/PT Too family: the belt could come off if the plate is too high from the plinth, or in other words it is not positioned right in the acrylic plate.
Check the clearance between the plate and the plinth that's should be in the range of 5-6 mm.

Possible that the motor you have is for 50cycles per seconds AC and is not designed with compensation for 60cycles per second AC? There would be a 16.7% difference in speed. This is only a quess but maybe worth prosueing. Good luck and hope it works out for you. Sure do love the way those Pink Triangle tables look.
