Question for Capitole Mark II SE owners

Dumb question---why would you have that done?

Just wondering whether any other Capitole Mark II SE owners had their players crushed in to little pieces. What effect (if any) did you think it had on the sound? LOL.

There was a guy that was taking the ASL Hurricanes amplifiers and re-soldering them using good silver solder. His charge was the retail cost of the amps. Not a good value. I wouldn't thing it would be worth it in this case either. Lots of circuit boards in that player and I don't think they are going to re-solder those.
