Rega upgrades/tweeks

I am soon to be the owner of a new P5, Exact II and seperate power supply. I know all about "not messing with the Rega sound." However, I AM curious re others experiences. Esp the Expresimo Heavy Weight and end sub, thanks.

There is a Bronze weight from Germany I think, that states as part of their advertising, that the Bronze metal works the best on the Rega arm and that is why their weight is superior. It would have something to do with the way it dissappated spurious vibration I would imagine.

I recently added the souther clever clamp which seemed to just sharpen the focus a tad, and the groovetracer subplatter which my wife called a "shocking" improvement. Soundstage wider, deeper, instrumental strumming, tapping, plucking much more lifelike

YMMV
The groovetracer? Is that the one sold by Music Direct and several others? It does fit the P5? thanks
Nice thing about the Techno Weight is the micrometer adjuster. This and a re-wire, Brit-Audio is another source, will greatly enhance the RB-300.
"The groovetracer? Is that the one sold by Music Direct and several others? " No, that is 'deep groove'. I've read on Audio Asylum that the Groovetracer is better, in that the quality is more consistent. I can attest to the fact that their acrylic plater (the most substantial one available) is an absolute work of art. www.groovetracer.com
