New to turntable scene, Purchased a VPI with a Dynavector 20x2L and Has the Unipivot tonearm. SCHIIT MANI 2

Sounds somewhat thin sounding, Is it the Mani 2?

System Schweikert vr8 audible illusions L3B Apollos ect,

Not thin sounding on My dac

I used one as a back up unit as my $2500 unit was being repaired. While it's fine for it's price point, it won't make your setup sound like what you read about in these threads about great LP playback. Don't expect groundbreaking sonics.

Dynavector 20x2L may need to break in a little over the next 20 hours. 2. The Mani is decent on MM input, not so great for low output moving coil. 3. Have you set the loading correctly?
