No it does not... just be sure & remove the puck from the transport before shipping. The X-777ES on the other hand does have a transport screw lock on the bottom of the unit.

I'm wondering if the Sony CDP-XA7ES CD player has a transit lock on it? My similar Sony players have one and I assumed this model would also...
