Sunfire classic tube preamp

Does anyone have any experience with this preamp, who can give me some insight on its performance and sound quality?

I just sold an audible illusions for $700 that should blow it away, and that would be my recommendation at the price if you want tubes.

It's a bit (just a bit) on the warm/rolled off side of things and slightly dark but very musical and pleasant to listen to--makes music sound good. If your system leans toward the bright side and you want to soften things up and add some richness, this piece is a very good buy.
