SYNERGESTIC RESEARCH - GALILEO SX INTERCONNECT- XLR

hello,

Does someone has an experience with SYNERGiSTIC RESEARCH GALILEO SX INTERCONNECT ?

the price new is around 9500 $.

what would be its "weaknesses"? What do you think about the bullets (gold and silver)?

is the sound natural/neutral?

is it better than stealth indra V10? nordorst valhalla 2 which are less expensive?

an alternative to stealth sakra V12/V16?

I Read some good reviews , but its difficult to find what real people think about it.

Thank you

philippe

I own the Gorgon and love it!  I will say, when it arrive I was not happy!  I had removed a Purist 25th Anni XLR and inserted the Gorgon, which at the time felt like a step backwards.  Not now though!  The Gorgon took a long time to break-in.  You don’t see them on the used market so if you end up with a new one be patient, the rewards are there in time!

I'm a little late to the discussion here.  I have been amassing a collection of SR stuff over the years.  Used.  I'm a bottom feeder and SR keeps making better stuff so the rich guys dump it and go for the latests and greatest.  I'm cool with he older stuff, it still sounds good.  I have many of the Gallileo UEF power cords and SX digital cables, UEF Galileo interconnects etc.. Even the record weight is good.  I don't know how but it sounds better than the other record weights I've tried and there is even a difference to hear with the little red or blue thing you put in the top.  Anyway, I recently decided to go out on a limb and get an SRX interconnect to hook from my phono pre to preamp.  I was using either an Atmosphere level 4 or audio quest thunderbird before.   The improvement  the SRX brought is astonishing.  I am in total shock.  The sound is alive.  It's silly to think they can charge this kind of money for a cable but dammit it sounds good.  Now when I play CDs I am trying to imagine how much better it would sound with the SRX cable.
