XLO Signature and Reference Interconnects

I have a dealer I know well that has a back stock of new XLO Reference 3.1 and Signature 3.1 cables, the Reference in particular he is keen on selling at a great price. I know they have a great reputation and are OCC copper, but I've never listened to them before.

Before I go through the hassle of borrowing the cables and giving them a trial, can anyone with experience give an opinion please? Thanks in advance.

I have seen some clear out prices from Audio Connexion also. Don’t know- maybe the company name was bought recently and someone is reproducing cables again using the XLO name hoping people will jump on them? Compare your dealers prices with these.

We all know if we saw an ad from a new unheard company started selling cables stating "$2200 retail today’s price $700" we would all ignore it, right?

Of course the original XLO cable designer Roger Skoff has his own company now

How old are these cables?  In their day, many years ago, XLO made some very good cables.  The best of them remain good to this day.  I still have and use an XLO Limited cable in my system.

I did order a set of the XLO Reference 3.1 RCAs from Parts Connexion (thank you mclinguy), I'll test them and see if I want to order another set
