Teddy Pardo delays?

Is anyone else having what seems to be issues with ordering from Teddy Pardo?

I placed an order on 29 Nov, and it still has not shipped.

The most recent excuses have been that FedEx have been having issues processing the shipment, or in picking up the shipment - it has now been more than a week of just waiting for FedEx to pickup the package - and I was originally told it was shipping on 15 Dec, after asking a number of times.

Communication has been slow and spotty, it often takes a few emails to get a short response, that does not answer all my questions nor provide much information.

Is anyone else experiencing problems like this?

Should I be cancelling my order, or contacting my credit card provider?

Hang in there. I ordered one in Oct.'20 before the frenzy.

I couldn't believe it when it showed up stateside ~10 days later.

Would have been worth waiting for. He's probably waiting for long delayed casework.

I agree, You should not worry. They are usually very prompt and I'm sure the holidays or delays in materials have something to do with it. Worth waiting for.

i have 2 that have been running 24/7/365 for years. I would wait a bit longer…..hope this works out for you

Update.

I received an email from them saying Fedex picked it up. Fedex say this was at 2:30 pm local time, beyond "Fedex cutoff", so with the Sabbath, and maybe NYE, it will not start moving until 02 Jan.

Just my luck, but at least something is now heading towards me.

If they had explained there were issues with them buying the parts, etc, then I would have been less stressed, but no rationale for the delays was really given.

These are for the Naim NDS I recently bought, so very much looking forward to getting it all running. And so much cheaper than buying 2 of 555 PS.

I’m sure they weren’t getting answers so they could give you an update sooner. So many variables today to contend with and I doubt it’s going to get any better. Glad it’s on the way as you’ll be very pleased with the product.

I had a rather unique experience with a recent order of a power supply from Teddy Pardo. I placed my order online, and more or less instantaneously received email confirmation of the order. Two or three days went by that I didn't hear anything, and when I went to the website I received some strange critical error message. I sent an email asking if everything was okay, and I received a response within a few hours assuring me that all was well and they had just had a minor glitch on their website. A few hours after that I received shipping confirmation via FedEx. I swear,  I am not exaggerating for the sake of effect, but my item arrived the very next day from Israel. I was absolutely astonished that a package would make it from Israel to California with no special prior arrangements, in one day. In this day and age of supply chain issues and delays in just about everything, I was elated at the outcome. BTW, I am delighted with the product, and very happy to have purchased it.

All's well that ends well.

The units arrived on Monday and everything is working fine.
