Your fine for the impedance match, the 75k input is a good match for a 10kohm passive.

Does anyone happen to know the input sensitivity to rated power of the CAS-2?
I already discovered that the input impedance is 75,000 Ohms.
I ask because I currently use a passive preamplifier in my system and want to insure compatibility with my source, which puts out a rather low 0.7 Volts.

I suggest you try: http://www.threshold-audio.com/ http://www.vintageamprepair.net/ https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/pass-labs/ I don't know, but if it's like some other Thresholds, I doubt 0.7 Volts is going to come anywhere near potential full output. |
