Thoughts on contriva G2 vs Tonda ?

smodtactical...the G2 is going to be the better speaker. I am actually going up to Doug White's house for the weekend and will get a chance to listen to both.The G2 is almost twice as expensive and does have the diamond tweeters and different crossovers, as well as a totally different composition to the body. Certainly if you are interested in listening to either/both, Doug would most graciously welcome you. Great guy.You can text / email me on Saturday afternoon and I will give you my thoughts..

I wonder how the diamond tweeter on the tidal compares to the Tonda D diamond tweeter and another diamond tweeter like a BW 800 D3 series.

I forgot about this thread! Tidal CG2 is simply put the best speaker I have ever heard. Incredibly nuanced with endless detail, precision, imaging. Just mind blowindly good. Vimberg Tonda D was also excellent but a full step down from the CG2.
