Tri-wired speaker cables for bi-wire Audio Note AN-E speakers?

I currently have an older pair of Cardas Quadlink 5C bi-wire cables but would like to upgrade for the Audio Note AN-E Spe HE speakers I now own and love. I'm looking for a used set of bi-wire cables that are at least 5m long (room configuration prevents me from using shorter lengths, unfortunately).  My budget is $2K. There aren't many listings that fit the bill, but right now there's a set of well regarded Straight Wire Crescendo 2 cables on ebay, 20-feet long, that seem to fit the bill, but they are tri-wired, not bi-wired. The owner says I can just leave one set of cables unattached, but I'm wondering if that would compromise sound quality.  Also, if I only need 5m, will the extra length unnecessarily compromise SQ as well? Thank you in advance!

Kimber Kable is an excellent choice for this application, due to the fact that they have the proper number (12,16) of individual SOLID core conductors with three different sizes! One cable can be terminated with three sets of banana plugs or spades with the smallest diameter conductors for the treble and largest for the bass and medium size for midrange. This way you dont have to run mutiple lengths of cable. I would search for a Kimber dealer in your area first and go from there.

5m's is obviously a very long setup, I think the Kimber rec is a good one. I have AN-J/lx's I am using AN Lexus single wire cables with Kimber 4TC jumpers. The jumpers sound excellent. I'll just say too that a lot of AN speaker owners prefer single wiring with jumpers over bi-wiring.
To the OP, have you thought about using Audio Note cables?  I have seen used pairs posted occasionally.  I am not sure if they could be had in the length and price range you mentioned.  I too would use the jumpers.
Thank you all for your generous comments. Jond, I'm totally open to it, but why do AN owners seem to prefer single wiring over bi-? Stereo5, yes, I'm definitely interested in the AN cables, just haven't seen anything listed that's long enough, and the retail price is beyond my budget. Tvad and Matt Miller, I haven't tried Kimber Kables but will definitely read about them.  Thanks gain!
