Tube Rolling | Luxman CL-38uc

Hey guys!

Was wondering if I could get your advise about tube rolling on a Luxman CL-38uc.
http://www.luxman.com/product/detail.php?id=27

I’m trying to avoid having to change all Tubes (I want to change them for NOS Tubes).

Since I won’t be using Phono or Tone Controls.
I will just be using the Balance Line In and Line 1/2 Out.

From what I can tell from the schematic (see below) I only would need to change the ones enclosed in green.

Here are the schematics for the CL-38uc Pre-Amp per Luxman: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pzkwm9U4JIDqbYN-KUmwtvVAFiipUlOG/view?usp=share_link

My questions

- Is my assumption accurate? Or do I need to change other ones?

- Can I use other type of tubes in place of the 12AU/ECC82?
For example I have plenty of ECC83s/12AX7 If so, is there any precautions I need to be aware of?

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks!

Mullard 12au7 are great sounding smooth tubes $25 USD ea.

Telfunken ECC82 12au7 $80 each

For me my favorite 12AX7 has been the Telefunken Smooth Plate NOS or even the ribbed plate. For the 12AU7 I've been happy with the Telefunken ribbed plate or a Mullard NOS.

it depends what you are looking for.  I have some extra 12AU7 set,  items,  otherwise can recommend some sellers.  What are you looking for?

@brubin, as of now I’m not looking for anything. I got lucky to obtain a quintet of absolutely mint Amperex tubes (1965), so I’m all set, but thanks for your post, even though it’s 5 months old.
