What used speakers raraely come up for sale

I've long kept an eye out for Avalon Ascent Mk IIs. I think I've only seen these on A'gon a couple of times over the past 10+ years. At this point, probably need to consider the cost of recapping on top of purchase price.

Thanks for all the replies, its interesting researching all the speakers listed.  I was impressed with Sonner Audio monitors at the NY audio show a few years back, never seen any used for sale mind.  

Ruark Solstice or Excalibers. Immensily musical, detailed and dynamic.

By golly, it looks like your ship might have just come in. Saw some Ascents listed here within the last couple days. Around $4K if I recall.
