@spiritofradio, yeah tough to go really deep prog wise on vinyl. That’s where streaming just works. I’ve got a setting on Amazon to load new tracks weekly in the prog world. Some interesting stuff for sure!

Tonight’s selections:

Norah Jones- Come Away With Me
Beastie Boys- BeastieBoys Music
Peter Gabriel- Growing Up Live
Tears for Fears- Rule the World
Another Joni acquisition arrived today....

Joni Mitchell - Ladies of the Canyon. Reprise reissue, I believe 1974. Originally 1970.

Damn, this album is in fantastic condition. Sounds great.

@bkeske, Dude! This is the one!

Dynamics, Clarity, Precision, True

This makes me think I’m beginning to know the difference between orchestras. This band is definitely north of greatness.

Very nice. I’m very familiar with Berlin, and Simon’s time with them. I’ve had a subscription to their streaming service (Digital Concert Hall), including live concerts, for 3 years now. This coming will be my 4th. Excellent orchestra. Weird, but I probably know them better than Cleveland because all the time I ‘spend with them’.
@spiritofradio there was not a noticeable issue with ringing, but if you tap on the horns... I don't think the damping is going to hurt anything.
