@boxer12, I remember that Tim.  I think you’d like this.  They are definitely Pink Floyd fans.  Can’t say they’re showy musicians but I like their sound.

Yes!  Steve, if you do a search you’ll see I actually posted about Sophia awhile back, even before you found her.  At the time, Tomic and I discussed her in contrast to some other more traditional audiophile oriented female vocalists.   I asserted that although she couldn’t be more different, the sound she achieves on (both) her albums is incredibly good.   It’s funny, I’m guessing you came across her through association with Dave Alvin.  And in fact I started paying more attention to him after learning he produced her record.   I really think it sounds good.
