Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Fleetwood Mac "Before the Beginning"

Vol 2: Live & Demo Sessions 1970

Tri-fold jacket

Bryan Adams-Reckless Side 1

Gloria Estefan-Cuts Both Ways Side 1 SQ*

Wham!-Make It Big Side 2

Laura Branigan-Branigan Side 1

John Cougar Mellencamp-Scarecrow Side 1 SQ*

Pat Benatar-Precious Time Side 1 SQ*

Phil Collins-No Jacket Required Side 1 SQ*

REO Speedwagon-Hi Infidelity Side 1

Miami Vice-Music From The Television Series Side 1

Played an extra LP side tonight...blame it on nostalgia? Yes, it was 80’s vinyl night where I played straight Pop to keep it very mainstream/nostalgic. Regarding SQ nothing stood out to claim Audiophile status but 4 near misses is a solid night. Mellencamp would get the SQ edge over the other 3.

Rod Stewart - "Every Picture Tells a Story"

Playing a new copy that replaces my unfortunately beat up origin. Holy cow! Sounds great!
