Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

I’ve been streaming random play from a friend’s remote Plex music server.  Also checked out the new Abbey Road there.

Bach Concertos - Trevor Pinnock and English Concert.  Great recording and performances.

Glad you liked that.  Agree with your assessment.  Dick Dale fan here too.

“The Red Planet” - Rick Wakeman and the English Rock Ensemble.  Awesome.  Just buy it!

Streaming my Roon library on random play. “Acrobat” by U2 at the moment. Whoops now it’s “Girl in Collision” by Chris Rainbow (qobuz). Got a nice ska rhythm and very well done. I love that I was able to add a Chris Rainbow album on qobuz to my Roon library alongside all the things I actually own (so far). This is music lover/audio heaven!

One of my favorite Supertramp tracks.  “Child of Vision…won’t you listen?”

Do you know any Leroy Anderson compositions?  Everybody knows at least one.  But so many more treasures!  These tunes are musical treasures and truly take me back to a childhood time when life was simple and this music encapsulates it all.

Which Steve Hackett?  He’s been cranking stuff out all the time now for almost 50 years.

I’ve been enjoying the “Auralic 2024” vendor playlist on Qobuz.  Very good sound quality and almost every track is interesting and new to me.  Well done!

Aion for orchestra. Lovely, menacing and mysterious all at the same time. I will label this one an audiophile recording as well for sure.  Don’t miss this one!

New release for these crazy times:  John Lodge of The Moody Blues still has some things to say.
