Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

I just ripped 3 cds of remastered early Emmylou Harris. I'm now listening to "Pieces of the Sky".
Your work ethic is beyond approach Uber. Enjoy the weekend!

Soltero / You're no dream
Folk rock (for the most part). He crafts his songs with some interesting stuff going on in the background

Yes Boxer
Be early night though.
Up at 6 drive from NC to SC to inspect some equipment. Drive back to NC, work for a few hours then fly home.
All in 100 degrees plus temperature in these shirty non AC factories.
🥵🥵
Wax Poetic / Nublu sessions
Mostly rock with jazz, club, & African influences
Reckoning - The Grateful Dead

Folk Jazz Trio - David Grisman

Reckless - The Steeldrivers
James Toth / Waiting in vain
He is the leader of the band "Wooden Wand" & an excellent musician. Kind of has an alt country style to it.
Bardo Pond / Set & setting
I have not found another band like Bardo Pond. They are very much into distorted guitars in a free form style. Mix that together with 10 minute + songs, an occasional flute, female voice, perfect percussion (for the music being played), & you have a band dedicated to the finest in drug music :-)

Probably old hat for many of you, but I  listened to "The rockin 1000" on YouTube tonight. Surprisingly good recordings of 1000 musicians playing Rock in an arena.
Sounds like a terrible idea, I know, but they pull it off well and it's fun and inspiring to see so many musicians, so into their music.

Bkeske, Good to see Pere Ubu being represented in the mix. What a great band
I love my tape collection TBH.
This has been a hectic weekend and I need to be in the right mood and frame of mind to play records.
It's just so easy to pop in a tape or hit play on Qobuz streaming.

Steve Miller was first record I played this weekend and probably last.

Time for a few more tapes before an early night as up at 4.15am to fly to work again😕
