Wireless for surround?

How about this, instead of running wires to the back, I buy a pair of bluetooth audio transimitter/receiver to connect to my pre-out and use it to power an amp in the back. Has anyone tried something like that? Are there other solutions?

Well, the AudioEngine powered minis do interface easily with the AW-1. as would be expected.
