Power Conditioners Recommendations

Looking for some recommendations.
In your opinion / experience what would you say is a good deal / good value power conditioner for about $250 used?

I am looking at Adcom ACE-515 as the ceapest at about $70, Monster Power HTS 36000Mk2 for about $160 up to Furman PF Pro at $250.
Anything else?
I have a tube amp and CD player for a source

forget the Adcom it's useless...the Monster is ok, don't know about the Furman. The Monster will filter ac and protect from surges and brownouts....

I recently bought an Audience Adept Response for $311.00 used here on Agon and can not believe the improvement. I know it is just outside of your price range but read the reviews - they are accurate IMO.

The new PS Audio conditioners have received some good press.

Never tried them though.

I use a relatively inexpensive Monster strip for everything but the power amp and it does seem to clean and tighten things up.

I wouldn't use them, as Tvad said. If it is possible have dedicated circuit run to your equipment. If worried about storms, voltage spikes, etc get something like a BrickWall for $250.
