Which SS amp does sound the most warm of all?


I'm looking for a warm sounding SS amp. The one with the most tubie sound of all.

Now my choise endend by three SS amps,

or the:

Pass Labs Aleph 1.2
Jeff Rowland 8T
Mcintosh MC 1000

These amp are only to drive the high/mids of my speakers system. I love the 3D effect, holografic sound,sound stage, the placement and the finest detail.

Any other advice is welkome. Please help me out.

Check out the Clayton S40 for a stereo amp or also their S70 or M100 monoblocks, depending on your budget.

I went from a Rogue 120 Magnum to my Plinius SA100 MKIII and preferred the Plinius overall, very warm and extended and the music seems lit from within, very intimate and tonally correct.

These cost pennies but I had to add this to the list.I use three B&K ST-140's in my hometheater system.I have been using them for about eight years.Sweet as can be.....

I haven't heard them all. In my experience and in no particular order: Rowland, Levinson, Conrad-Johnson, B&K.
