Best Intergrated Amp. Under 1k with "PRAT"

For a 2nd system, it will be driving Maggie 1.6. Listen mainly to Jazz at moderate levels, and Pace, Rhythm, Acceleration and Timing are improtant to my way of listening.

I want to stay under 1k, the further under the better. I have had good luck with the Classe CAP-80 and CAP-100 in the past, and was not as impressed with a Plinius I listened to .

I own a pair of Maggies, and was really satisfied using an Arcam A65+ integrated, for around $650. The Arcam A80 is a step-up, but comes in at $1200. I've spent from 10 am-8 pm on saturdays listening to nothing but Coltrane, Davis, Gillespie and Monk and have been nothing short of astounded how good the Maggies sounded being driven by the little 40 watt A65+.

modified jolida 102 is a nice little el84 tube amp that is the unsung hero of the lower end jolida line...great unit for less than 600 modded

hhmmm, I have had Naim amps, don't think it will drive the Maggies (Nait3), I would go for a used Naim separates (180, 140, xps, previous versions) and maybe update in the long run.
