I also recommend Don "Sugar Cane" Harris "Got the Blues". He's got a blend of Jimi Hendrix and Ornette Coleman in one man playing his violin. Also I would recommend surfing through the ars of Terje Ripdal and Pekka Pohjola -- you will enjoy every album you acquire.
