Any Audiophile recording of The Planets?

I have Holst/The Planets by DG (Karajan) very good music but not so good sound (early digital recording) Any suggestion for the best sound of The Planets ?

Not to take this subject on a tangent but try Manfred Man's Earth Bands renditions of the Planets. A highly overlooked classic in rockroll. This album is great sounding and the music is inspiring. A lot of Moog.
Zaikesman:

Are you a fan of the other DG Westminster re-releases? They seem hard to track down, but I really like them... e.g. the Clara Haskil disc.
Mre2007: I don't buy new classical releases on CD, just some of the vintage vinyl that I find. As I said, I'm not primarily a classical listener or knowledgeable in the field, and combined with the amount of classical material I inherited from my father, I hardly even do that anymore.
Dutoit-OSM Penguin Classics version on CD is "heavenly".

I can listen to it over and over. Realistic sound quality and wonderful performance. It has it all power, majesty, delicacy, beauty ...a truly great demo recording.
