How much does your system retail for?

$23,000 - $24,000 I estimate. (Two channel, this does not include TV, VCR, etc.)

Please, keep the exagerations to a minumum, do not count CD's, equipment you have bought and sold, is packed away that you don't use anymore, etc..

Put the total first so it shows up at the begining of your post.

This is just for fun and curiosity of the diversity on here, don't take it to seriously. Simply evaluate what the retail value of your system is.

My system retails for about $50,000, but I actually paid only one half of that. I was able to save tens of thousands of dollars by buying my equipment used, or new but in raw or prototype condition. Instead of showing off my speakers like trophies, they are all hidden behind screens or curtains. The emphasis is on the aesthetics of music, not the detail in the cabinets.
$104,400. Includes 5 dedicated AC lines. Was hoping like hell as I was adding this up that it did not hit six figures. In fact, was quite surprised at the number as hadn't thought about it-only ever really consider the resale value! ;^)
$50,000 in the Equipment and $13,000 in vinyl and CD. Most of the EQ. was bought in the past two years, so now it's time to buy Lots-O music!
$60K give or take. I separated from my "financial manager" about 10 months ago, and I've been buying myself congratulatory gifts ever since (the latest was an AN 4.1x Balanced Signature). I've recapitulated all the growth an audiophile normally does over 10 years in the space of 6 months, and I am one seriously happy camper.

I don't think the same WAF problem is going to happen again, because a) this time it's my money, not "our" money, and b) I recently put a demo pair of Pursang interconnects into the system, and when I put on a disc my girlfriend stopped what she was doing and said "Wow! Listen to her voice - that's amazing!" Yup, one happy, happy camper.
