Help me decide b/w a Stealth XXX or a BPT 2.5

Hello

I use a system with

Odyssey dual mono (2 power cords) amp
Anthem MCA 3 II amp (1 cord)
Audio Research SP 16L tube preamp
Myryad MDP 500 G6 processor
Ah Tjoeb 400 tube CD player
Sony DVP 7700 DVD player

I use the system of HT and 2 channel listening. I am running 10/2 Romex wire as dedicated lines on two outlet. I am torn and cannot decide on which unit to go for. Using Audioprism Foundation III at the moment. If I choose the Steath I am short outlets. The BPT has 10 outlets so no problem. How good is the BPT at isolating all components including digital. Should I even be putting amps on the conditioner or just source and digital stuff. For my config what do you all suggest. 1500 USD or so is my absolute limit.THanks. Dave

That's a pretty strong statement, Sammie.

Can you please elaborate? How does the AM "smoke" the BPT, in what areas? I am not refuting what you are saying, but have been considering the purchase of this type of device (BPT, Shunyata Hydra, etc.), and am interested in the opinion of someone with experience in multiple devices such as yourself.

Thank you,
Joe
Well, all I can give you is a layman's description, but suffice it to say, the Audio Magic simply sounds more musical. The teble, bass, soundstage are all improved. Also, the AM reduces the digital edginess, so the music just flows. My buddy who owned the BPT was very skeptical of the AM, simply because the AM is a small, lightweight box and the BPT is a 70 lbs monster, or so it seems. Anyway the thing is just huge. We listened to the BPT first and then switched to the Matrix. I remember him saying, "Wow that thing really does work." Based on what folks are writing about the new Elclipse, it's even better than the Matrix. I'm telling you, this is a no brainer!
What is the difference b/w the regular Stealth and the Steath MK II version. Thanks guys.
Dave--

It's a matter of priorities. I'm willing to give up this fantastic conditioner because things didn't work out with the Resolution Audio Opus 21 CDP I was using, so I've sent it back for refund. I've since fallen in love with an Ayre Acoustics CDP and their preamp, which will cost considerably more than the Opus. So, unfortunately, everything has gotta go, even my beloved Matrix. Eventually, when I recover, I'll grab another AM conditioner.
