What's with the buyers these days??


It seems that recently more and more buyers.. well just suck. I seems to be that more and more people will make an offer that I accept and then I have to email multiple times to get them to pay...

Answer is, the price that I accept. I usually just tell those folks to, "make an offer."

I would much rather answer the question,
If I offer you $X, will you accept?
I usually answer that question right away because I respect that a serious buyer doesn't want their offer tied up for 48 hours. It is not unusual that I have the offer/acceptance agreed upon before the formal offer is made by the buyer.
Theduke, if you want to negotiate maybe the best thing to do is ask what price the buyer has in mind, which you can accept or deny. Mrvordo, you might also try this, or simply not reply.
Having recently sold a car, I was reminded of what I already
knew: There is a HUGE gap between someone saying they want
something and actually writing the check. Lot's of people want
things, but very few actually buy.
