I am using JM Lab Alto Utopias. I like the combo. The MC501's were revieved with JM Lab Nova Utopias when the 501's won product of the year in 2003. You can get the Alto Utopias for half of their retail right now brand new at Audio Unlimited in Denver as well as Singer in New York as they are being replaced with the new Utopia III line. The retail was $22,000 at their last pricing and they can be had for new for about $11,ooo now.
I had the 501's a few years ago and they were not a good match with my speakers, a buddy had the JL Labs Utopias, and they now reside at his house. There were, and are, a perfect match.
