Mofi, that information in the link you provided that HiFi Tuning Fuses are not directional is outdated. Originally the German dude who's the inventor and manufacturer of Hi Fi Tuning fuses swore up and down that fuses are not directional. It was only afterwards at some point that he realized he was incorrect. That fuses are directional. Just like all wires. That's why Hi Fi Tuning fuses have that little symbol that looks like an arrow on them. |
MoFi, I almost forgot to mention, since the dude from HiFi Tuning had the epiphany that wire and fuses ARE actually directional he had some company measure the various electrical properties of a number of fuses, including his own, and published those results in the form of Data Sheets on the HiFi Tuning web site. |
From my reading, there are probably just as many people who claim that all wire is non-directional as people who claim the opposite? Of course this 50/50 opinion split as to whether wire is directional only applies to high-end users. The other 99.99% of the population thinks we're crazy, if they think of us at all. |
