Gold or Rhodium

Have you compared the Furtech wall outlets? I am setting up a new dedicated room and need five wall receptacles; one for front-end sources, one for each monoblock, and two for subs. Each outlet will be on it's own dedicated line. Will use the GTX-D series. Question is should I go with the gold or rhodium plated or use a mix of the two? I've read that the gold offer a slightly 'warmer' sound but gold is soft and can be easily melted off if any sparking ocurrs.

Hi, I own the furutech gtx Rhodium and the wall frames, I went through weeks of trying both gold and Rhodium, it is a matter of preference, however, I must say, mixing gold and Rhodium together was was the worst sound, they worked against each other in my opinion.
Audiolabyrinth, that is my opinion also. Mixed cables IMHO are always a mess.
Hi Tbg, good to see you, I read you enjoyed this year's Rmaf audio show that you posted on another thread, I also agree what you said about copper outlets post you done, cheers.
Hi everyone,  huge announcement here,  brought to you by the Audiolabyrinth, my friend Chris sent me an email about the NEW furutech NCF gtx-rhodium out let's only,  NCF stands for nanotechnology crystal formula,  you can go to the vh audio site and read all about it,  needless to say,  I'm up grading!
What I'm saying above is furutech has just introduced a new top of the line product, not sure how much the upgrade cost,  it's a whole new outlet.
