Your First Concert was.....

My first concert was Arlo Guthrie at the Shaffer (sic) Music Festival in Central Park, NYC. It cost 2 bucks and it was for his "Running Down the Road" album.

It was a local Surf Band from Santa Cruz (just over the mountains from San Jose) named The Tikis. They were outfitted in matching suits, the pants of which were cut off at the knees, making shorts! A few years later they had changed their music, look, and band name, to Harpers Bizarre.
