I'll take a bite. First would be Hugh Laurie's "Didn't it Rain". My 2nd is a compilation made by Roger Sanders and sent to me with either my new 10Ds or Magtechs (cant remember), last year. On the CD was some pretty awesome music I had never heard before (Musica Nuda, Steven Strauss) as well as some very obscure perfectly recorded awesome demo tracks. I love it so much, I burned a copy just in case...
- Dianna Krall - The look of love (XRCD24); Simply amazing, analogue-like sound played on my Vitus cdp!
- Tony Bennett - Playing with my friends; this is a garden variety RBCD, but it is one of the best sounding normal rbcd's I own. I think Tony must have recorded the live recording direct to master tape & kept everything very pure and stripped down, hence the sound is intimate like it was supposed to sound. Love it.
Bruckner, Symphony No. 8, Giulini/Vienna Phil. on DG
Mozart Violin Concertos, Grumiuax/Colin Davis/LSO...
remaster, DECCA/Universal

Jimi Hendrix, "Are You Experienced" 1997 Remaster
Propaganda, "A Secret Wish" remaster

and the Bruckner goes on and on...
OK, I should answer my own question. My top two would be Bruce Springsteen, "Greatest Hits" and Dire Straits, "On Every Street".
Other notables would have to include Traffic, "The Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys"; Steve Winwood, "Roll With It";
Fleetwood Mac, "Tusk"; Rush, "Moving Pictures"; Billy Joel,"An Innocent Man"; and Beatles, "Abbey Road"; Dire Straits,"Love Over Gold"; and the last of my top ten, The Who, "Tommy".
