I nominate "The AR Tuner" from the early 1970's.
It had the most accurate linear tuning dial ever; if you tuned it to, say, 93.9 in the off position and then turned it on, it would be perfectly center tuned.
It had superb sensitivity and selectivity.
It had classic, clean minimalist styling.

The Yamaha CT-7000 is no doubt better than all the other Yamaha's on the list (although the T-2 is a decent number 2), and the Sony ST-5130 is probably better than all the other Sonys on the list. The Sony ST-5000 and 5000F should probably also be on the list. The 10B was no doubt Marantz's flagship tuner, but their two of their best solid state units, the 150 and the 120B deserve to be on the list.
