Firs off, don't bunch or tie your cables together. Try to get them to cross at right angles if and when they do come together.

You can also go one step further and get some sections of foam tubing used inside pipes that has a slit along the length of it. Just cut some very short sections from it and using the slit, wrap it around a cable and place it so it rests between it and any other cable you're worried about.

If you want that Scandinavian look of neatness, you're in the wrong hobby. :-) Old timers like me take a certain satisfaction in the tangled mess that resides behind our rigs, jutting out here and there, clearly the work of some bedeviled fool.
