Amps which are Great, but either Unknown or Underpriced

Hello everyone,

When I think of Power Amps (or integrated amps) that play / sound way beyond their price-point and can be non-household names, I think of companies like:

  1. Belles (Power Modules)
  2. McCormack
  3. Coda

Can you guys please suggest other Power Amps / Companies that are also somewhat unknown or of great value?

Your suggestions would really help me and others.  Thanks!

Some of these replies really surprise me since the OP ask for Unknown or Underpriced.

But there are many good nominations as well.  And one I'll +2 on is Monarchy

LSA (Living Sounds Audio). I had their Signature hybrid integrated which I had upgraded to a Statement. Simply incredible when compared alongside previous amps I've had from ARC, Rogue, Blue Circle, and Rega.

LSA is more known for their affordable speakers, but the Statement went for $11,000 when it came out. You can now find one (not mine!) for about $3K on Agon and they're worth every penny.

Great service and attention to detail; excellent hybrid design.
So - I'd never heard of Van Alstine or Musical Design and thus explored their sites. Anyone have any first-hand experience with either of these designs?

That's what I love about this hobby!
